Update – Feb. 4: Jasper has been ADOPTED!
NEW YORK, NY – Dec. 17, 205: Our handsome Am Staff/Hound mix left tied to a fence in Brooklyn earlier this week hasn’t stopped charming the world! His rescuers, Amanda and Eric, are caring for him through next week, enabling us to learn more about what his ideal home will be. As suspected from our initial intake evaluation, the fracture on his right foreleg was unable to be surgically repaired due to age and degree and was amputated this past Saturday. We are looking forward to him being able to walk and run without pain and know he will adjust in no time!
We are so appreciative to Dr. Liff and Dr. Grosbard, along with the entire staff at Brooklyn Cares Veterinary Clinic, for immediately fitting Jasper in for initial vetting along with x-rays, and scheduling the surgery that will no doubt make this sweet fella a lot more comfortable.
After such cruel abandonment, this dog and kid friendly velvety chocolate snuggle bunny would love a home for the holidays. Jasper is house trained, submissive and obedient. He has some separation anxiety that is already improving with proper direction and as he settles into a life without neglect and his recovery from surety will be minimal. If you can open your heart and home to a very special tri-pawed, please fill out our adoption application at www.mrbonesandco.org/adoption-application For additional questions, email elli@mrbonesandco.org
