NEW YORK, NY – June 15, 2016: Chloe is an approximately 5 year old Am Staff/APBT mix who joined our One Lucky Pup program in mid-June from our rescue partner, J and J’s Homeless Pet Rescue, in NC. Chloe is extremely dog and people/kid friendly, and is great with cats as well! Chloe was adopted as a puppy after being pulled from a kill shelter at six-months, then was dumped at a shelter a year later because her family, who had kept her living outside and faked photos of her being an indoor dog when they shared updates with her original rescuers, wanted a new puppy instead of an adult dog. This family forced her original rescuers to give them back the adoption fee they paid for her a year earlier in order for them to get her back safely.
Chloe has been homeless for 3+ years at this point and has been in our care since May, loving life in her foster home in NJ. She lives with three other dogs who she adores! Chloe is house and crate trained, spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She gets along with cats, kids and even goats! 🙂
