Reaching out to shelters is vital to our mission objective. Our first major outreach initiative was in April 2014 for Yonkers Animal Shelter in Yonkers, NY. We produced a neuter-a-thon, a Two For One Ball Drive that resulted in 13 dogs and 4 cats being neutered in one day! The community joined in on the effort and donated new sports balls and equipment for a local youth program in need. The day was made possible by the very generous Dr. Daniel Spector and Dr. Rebecca Webb from Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists, who donated their time and talent in full.
