PRINCESS GRACE is a heartbreaking case with a fairy tale ending. Found tied to a fence by Good Samaritans Mark and Laura, Grace was victim of a vicious and ongoing attack by other dogs, likely part of a fight ring in the Brooklyn/Queens, NY area. Surveillance video revealed four men leaving her in the middle of the night, suffering from traumatic facial and jaw injuries. We picked this beautiful dog up within hours after she was found.
After a successful surgery to repair her face and jowl, and a week in the hospital, Grace was discharged into dedicated foster care in Brooklyn. Her recovery has been nothing short of remarkable, as illustrated by her portrait session, courtesy of Sophie Gamand Photography.
Gracie has no aggression or behavioral issues, and is affectionate with people, and dog and kid friendly. Estimated to be two-years-old, approximately 60lbs., Gracie is as gentle, obedient and smart as they come!
